Lawrence Kochoa is a New York-based actor, screenwriter, and producer from Jersey City, NJ. Most notable credits include appearances on Discovery’s Street Justice: The Bronx and Investigation Discovery’s 'Grave Secrets'. He played J.C. in the 2018 feature film Billboard, co-starring opposite John Robinson (Lords of Downtown, Transformers). Lawrence has studied under Heidi Marshall and Broadway Actress Shauna Hicks, along with performing improv at the Magnet Theater. He is a member of the interactive theater group "Live In Theater," which can be seen across NYC.
He has produced three short films: "Daphne," "Home, Orange," and "Buzzing 2C" which have all made their way through the indie festival circuit. Each film touches upon different topics including human desperation, slice of life in an urban home, and mental health.
Outside of acting Lawrence's hobbies include weight training, cooking, basketball, football, "foodie lifestyle," and has experience as a radio Rutgers University's 90.3 "The Core."
